Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

no one gets it. i'm in therapy. i see a psychiatrist. i already did treatment. i'm on medication. because of this everyone thinks i'm doing okay. they're all wrong. i see no improvement; i have no hope. no one really needs me. no one really wants me. sure my sister loves me but she could easily forget me in a few years. i thought i was okay today but of course my depression took over and i already took the pills. i already cut. there is no going back. now i wait

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I did treatment too. I ended up in the hospital. I cut, I wanted to die, I wanted to end it, I had tried treatment with meds, with doctors. But my depression... it's in remission now, after years of downright agony. But please, I need you to please call 911 and seek emergency help. Please. There is hope. There IS hope. You have a chance. I have been to this place before. I have sought this help. If you can't dial 911 text 741741. Please. I don't want this world to lose another person.
Praying so hard for you right now you beautiful soul. Please stay.
I have no real life friends, and on Facebook I have one, what a lonely and sad life I MUST live yes?
I have what very few people in this world have, self-happiness and, self-loving, do you have self-happiness and, self-loving? Did you know that self-happiness and, self-loving are more important than both of these things derived from outside sources?
How do you become self-happy and, self-loving did you ask? You become CONSCIOUS of your thoughts as opposed to being habitually unconscious of them and, you never again judge, either yourself or, others.
The prime reason for internal sadness is negative/judgmental self-talk, so stop it this instant.
