-_- I just got I message from someone I've been trying to connect with saying
"I know we were supposed to get together and hang out next week, but this other friend wants to do something so can we reschedule? I want to hang out with _______. "
Yeah.....sure. Weve only only been trying to find time to hang out for idk 6 mos.
Just a stark reminder that I'm ALWAYS the "back up friend" the one you get stuck with only when NO ONE BETTER is available.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Kikio this is more about who they are...Not you!!
They're unkind and not responsible
I'm sorry that you've been hurt...xo
Perter.....no I wish it were a scammer. That would be better.
She's an in- person friend, who would rather hang out with another lady we both know and see regularly (but is not someone I know well or would consider a friend)
Thanks bill *hugs*
Something tells me this person is not a good person, not a person of high character or maturity to dump you and admit why. Yet, knowing the truth of it can free you. Now you know who she is. Don't take this personally, she would dump the next one in line, too. Rather see this as you dodged a bullet as we say in my part of the country. You don't have to invest any more time knowing her character and maturity and unkindness towards other human beings.
The problem is NOT the you don't measure up. The problem is SHE doesn't measure up to your standards of wanting a high quality friend. It does sting but you are actually saved. Flip the script here.
In my situation, I am not sure she is truly capable of being a friend at this time. So I sort of feel glad she cancelled lunch and we talked on the phone for an hour instead. We would not have gotten deep into personal things at the restaurant. Some things have already kind of bothered me about this woman who cancelled on me. She emails me a lot or texts me a lot. Too much. Begs us to make lunch plans, then cancelled. I know it happens but this seemed like divine protection of my heart, if that makes sense. Maybe I don't need to invest more energy in this woman.
I think I'm about to get stood up again.
Tomorrow morning was our raincheck date. She told me she would let me know where we would meet up for breakfast.
It's 11:19 pm
But still don't know where or IF we're actually going to have breakfast.
I had hoped that maybe there was a good reason before.
Maybe there still is .
I don't know.
If she doesn't come through this time to hell with her sweetie
She dosen't deserve your friendship
Big hug...xo
