I've been called both by doctors over the years. I just want to feel better and I don't care how I'm labeled. I have been suffering from all kinds of stomach problems. One rare situation called MALS (median arcuate ligament syndrome) and acute pancreatitis. I had surgery in August to fix the MALS and as long as I never drink again my pancrea should be ok. I've learned that my bipolar meds could've caused the pancreatitis and they took me off all bipolar meds. I've benn off all head meds for a couple of months but hit a low point whee evrything seemed hopeless, I couldn't sleep, I was crying all of the time and was quick to anger. My doc has just put me on Lexapro. Will this help? What should I do to make sure I'm on the right meds?

Everyday I feel more and more sick. Being in pain every day, I've learned to disguise it. So well that others don't believe my pain when I speak of it. Needing help but only receiving negative responses, I find my way but pay for it later. I absolutely need the rest but there's pressing things to be done.

Ugh my depression is really being triggered by the grief of losing my mom. Ugh it sucks. I wish this pain would leave me already.

Just keep letting your doctor know about the effects and side effects.
Hope you feel better soon.
You need to find a doctor or a counselor that can rightly evaluate your symptoms to give you and ACCURATE diagnosis. That's an important key in effective treatment. If the current "professionals" you're working with aren't doing this then you should consider finding ones who will.
I know it's hard when you're at your bottom and just want to feel better but we as mental health clients have to take an active role in our treatment to make sure WE GET WHAT WE NEED so we can improve. Communication/ honesty is also an important key.
Maybe the lexapro will help... I guess time will tell. I hope you feel better Juicelucy,
