I got the new grill huge not propane or gas but real charcoal and hickory chips. I am slow cooking ribs and chicken and a couple marinated ribeyes. Put in your order now so it will be ready by supper time. Just don't bring any potato salad :-)

I may be wrong but when I lived in CS tri tip was a spanish food made from beef tounge

That would be a different definition of the term then. The tri tip I know has NOTHING to do with beef tongue!

Well as long as it is beef I'm in the MOOOOre the better !!!!

but gotta have ketchup, i mean after all what is steak but unchopped hamburger and what do you eat on hamburgers KETCHUP :-)

He he he, I gotta say this:

NOBODY puts ketchup on prime rib! Well, I thought it was funny.

A lot of good BBQ sauces are based on ketchup, or other tomato based products. But common, on steak? ARGH.

But just finished reading Steevy's post on being shallow. If ketchup makes you enjoy your meat more, then go for it! I mean after all, what is a cold roast beef sandwich WITHOUT a good slice of tomato or two?
