Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I had a bad flareup in my back yesterday and today and I'm back in bed again. I went to emergicare and my surgeon's office to adjust the device they implanted in my back.
I was supposed to start volunteering at a dog rescue today and cried because I couldn't, being once again held back by this f$##### back. I'm angry, frustrated, and losing patience.
I hope to be better in a week or so so I can start volunteering..
For now I'm going to edit and write for the other nonprofits I offered to help, which I can do from home.
I'll continue my coding classes from home, probably from bed but who cares, as long as I'm productive.
Not being productive brings on the depression for me so I need to keep going, even if it's from my bed.
I'll continue to use ice, heat, pain meds, and work with the device settings to ease the pain. I'm considering calling the chiropractor and pain management to see if a steroid shot can help.
Just so sick of this crap. I just turned 33 and can't volunteer, let alone work. My friends have jobs, kids, some have boyfriends and husbands and I'm stuck due to this god damned disability combined with anxiety and depression.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
