There are things specific to Florida issues.. and yes,, I do use this site for that purpose,,,for example ..florida is now ranked 46 to the bottom on unemployment and quite possibly depression,,,better than say NY or Va...the governor here is a raving moron,,

In regards to our Governor I think you're being too kind to him. I am pretty much convinced that he is pretty evil. I am particularly sensitive to how low we rank when it comes to dealing with the mentally ill. This state for lack of better terms pretty much sucks. And before someone says well then "why don't you move." there are some positive things that still exist which is enough to keep me here. Anyway I was born here and feel some responsibility to make my little bit of the world here in Florida at least a little better. As for the problems that exist we can hope for some improvement.I will definitely being voting in the next gubenatorial election. If you want to discuss anything else just message me. I agree that it's rough with the way our Governor is doing odd things. It makes me wonder what's going on behind the scenes as well.
I, too, will be watching for what we are offered in the coming year.

Some of the things we learn here on DS are really helpful to use as guidance when approaching political figures for help with situations that obviously discriminate against certain medical conditions, and in Florida, the jobless rate for those of us with handicaps, disabilities is far, far higher than the public number, and increases every month.

There are some subjects that are better discussed through private messages here on DS, rather than a public thread, and this request is not a personal request for personal information, rather, I believe, it is directly related to a recent article that was just made public in certain meetings.

The media will expose it publicly to the world, if enough people are willing to stand up, and be heard, be seen, be accepted.
