Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
In many/most states if you qualify for SSDI then you also qualify for state help if your income is under their poverty level of whatever it is they use. For people wiht minor children this often means the person getting disability is covered for medical beyond the medicare A, the B costs to much for many but some states will pay that for you and also pay for your enrollment in a perscription drug program and the state will usualy pay your childrens medical I think, here in Alaska there is a state program for kids anyway that is not dependnet on parents income. Just need to check your specific location.
As to whether or not it will pay the mortage or rent is another question but I think most of these things are geared to the COLA for your area and for renters there is often a subsidized rent program.
"Pay me, pay me, pay me [like me =D]" people are the god damned problem, not some chimp who sits in the oval office.
I have and I've been on it since March of '96. Not much $$ but it helps since I'm also not allowed to work. I'm in Canada, so I got CPP as well as ODSP
It depends on what you earned while working.....
