Hope the doctor can sort me out cause, this has to be one of the lowest points in my life, not sure how my life can get better, my girlfriend has been away for a week and still has 2 weeks to go of her trip, I had alcohol yesterday so i think thats just made things a whole lot worse, Ive applied to like 300 jobs and i still havent got anything yet this is like a complete nightmare for me, i will try and try again but sometimes i feel so bad, I was planning my own death earlier its not good, i feel a little better now after speaking to my mum she does my head in alot but shes a good person. I just want to feel ok and motivated but everything is an effort and things that were easy before seem like mountains i have to climb, im a good person i think i have alot of good times left in me just not sure how im gonna get those good times again cause on the work front things are looking bleak for me even though im trying very hard. My mum said i should go to the emergency department at the hospital but i think ill hold on to the morning to see the doctor. I think depressed people are very strong cause when your fighting a battle with your brain theres not many things in life that are scarier than that cause if you cant trust in yourself who can u trust but im sure my fighting spirit will come through! Man i feel shit.

Seeing a doctor is a good idea. Medication will help out a good bit, once they found out what works well with you. I'm sorry about the work front, I, too am going through the same situation and I am a single mom of 2 so yeah, it's pretty terrifying to me right now. I have always worked and now I am wondering what the hell I'm going to do BUT I know that things will get better; I just have to keep pushing myself to keep the bad thoughts away and think about the kids and anything else. That's what you need to do. Think about your mom, your girlfriend and anything else that brings you joy in life. I do know that things will get better because I have been really down before and gotten back up, so don't give up and please don't choose death. There is no turning back on that one. I know your fighting spirit will come through, I can hear it in your words, you are very strong but come here often for support and see a doctor soon. You are smart too; as you know when you are in trouble. When I knew that things were getting too dark for me I had sought help..please go to the hospital if you need too. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hopefully soon something will turn out on the job front. Meanwhile, keep your chin up, stay focused, fight!! When those dark thoughts creep in, start doing something that is positive, force yourself. Huge hugs. Better days. xxxxx

I'm sorry you're feeling so down Richie. Alcohol makes me more depressed, and when I was on meds it made it way worse. I think you're right about depressed people being very strong. I'm glad you're going to go to the dr and get help. ((hugs)
