Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I’ve been having really bad panic attacks. And a lot of it happens at work. I feel unsafe. And as if everyone is staring at me, whilst judging me. It’s awful because I can’t find anyone who understands. All of my friends can’t relate to my anxiety, so I haven’t been able to find anyone to talk to. Even when they try to understand, I feel like such a burden; I find myself pushing them away.
Even when I’m asleep, I feel unsafe. I have reoccurring nightmares of my brother (who is closest to me) die on a constant loop. Which causes me to have panic attacks in my sleep. Or sometimes, if it’s really bad I can’t wake up. I end up, frozen. In my sleep? Idk how to explain it.
I just need someone to talk to. But, don’t we all?
