If it's just him and a guitar, I'd probably stick with his name. If he has someone else performing with him in a band setting, take a thesaurus out and flip to 2 or 3 random pages. That's the band name.

Haven't read all the replies but I liked Kevin Skinner. I saw his first performance and thought he had a great voice. I like the fact that a down-home country boy won.
