I'm so sorry that these things have happened. You must have taken very good care of your dog because she lived a long life. Call 988 if you are in crisis. I agree with Sun about your pay being cut. How long have you been at that job? Can you look for other work? I live in NJ and we have an assistance program that I benefit from. Check with your state for help with utility bills and such. Continue to vent here.

I'm so very sorry to read of the loss of you fur baby/family...sometimes I have felt closer to an animal than some people in my life...definitely where trust and love are concerned.

As for your job, so wrong! I just don't get this world today, what's happening in our country. Greeneyes has a point, in my state there is help with heating oil,,,lots of other stuff too.

A loss will take time to work through the fog, my hope is there is someone who will hold you close. Please do reach out for help and continue to post here for support <3

I also have a dog now , that I obsess to an unhealthy point, over.
We have to remember we gave them such good lives.
I grieved my pets. It took time, but knew I did right by them.

I am so sorry you lost your beloved furry friend. I lost my dog in July and it was devastating. And I only had him for four years. I got depressed a month or two later but climbed out with the help of treatment. Nonetheless, I still miss him so much. Today I was at PT and through the windows was watching people walk their dogs and I almost started crying. And I am upset that they cut your pay at work. That is awful.

As for the job, can you fight them for fair pay? Why on earth are they cutting our wages? That doesn’t seem fair at all.

ok, im gonna offer a completely different way of seeing this whole thing.. cause when stuff like this happens.. two bam bam in a row.. NO.. you gotta look at it and say what is really going on. This play of life is really spinning wierdly.

So the dog dies.. but we also know.. when someone dies, even animals.. we still feel them, often times deeper. right...

what is the best way to really sense the depth of your best friend.. ? by slowing down in life.. so the universe says.. ok how do we slow him down.. less distractions.. have him hold close to the bone .. thus the pay cut.

see this? they are both working together.... simplify life.. and sense and feel your great friend. Trust me its there.
