Hello,
I have been in the same, low level job for two years now, one from which many people move on, but I have convinced myself that I will regret leaving because I will not like the next job. Before I got into this industry, I was doing quite well in a different one than I took a third job that I had a feeling of dread about, and although I stayed over a year, it really led me down a depressed path and in trhe end left for a low paid low level job which I was happier in. I would like to be a bit more ambitious and look for something btter but I have a feeling of dread that I will repeat the past and go into depression. Has anyone experienced thoughts like this?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

I think that many people get stuck in a job because of
some irrational fear of leaving. I have every reason to leave my
job but the thought of doing so leads to a great deal of anxiety.
I don't have the answers as to how to get out of this rut, but
know that you're not alone
