As many of you know, I have been deep in financial problems for quite some time now.
Yesterday, after my husband claimed that we had enough money in the bank, I decided to go to a concert with my friends, one of them that I haven't seen since high school.
As i'm getting ready, my husband goes online to pay the electric bill, only to realize that our bank account has been gutted by a company we owe money to.
We have zero money and we still need to pay the electric and cable bills.
We also have a lawsuit against ourselves which scares me.

We are not expecting a child, although I have greatly lowered my dosage in preparation for one. Still, we do not plan on having a child until our financial situation is under control. I originally started lowering my dose years ago when we had money, and I felt better on a lower dose of Klonopin, so I thought why stop?
Although it is our goal to one day live in NYC, that is also out of question unless my hubby gets a well paying job that is located there and we can pay off our debt.

In addition to the electric company, the cable company can help out. Most will allow you to keep service if you're only one month behind continuously (You owe February and March, pay for February and then pay for March instead of April), but you'll incur some interest. Also, if you can pay off what you owe, they'll be willing to offer you different cable packages, including an introductory one, even if you're a long-time subscriber, for a limited time.

Thank you Jormungandr. Thankfully, my husband got that bill paid off right before the account was gutted. Now all I am worried about is if he is going to get paid on time so we can pay off the electric bill.

Sorry.
You sound like you're getting on top of it, I know it probaby feels like getting to the "bottom" of things, but I get the impression you guys will get this resolved soon. I agree, check with the electric people and see what they can do (not telling you what to do, I mean, I would).
