Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
You're only 31 at that; you're still getting your feet wet in this thing called life!
I too have lost a lot. Hell my life out of the womb started crappy but I won't bore you with that complex issue. I will say that although I have lost a lot, the latest being almost 3 years ago when my DH was murdered across the street from our house and I was left with a baby to raise all by myself with no friends/family, I still get up everyday and keep moving! Is it easy? Hell no, as some days I'm like why am I still here? Then I look at our son and know this is why along with my fiance who loves me and all my craziness/mood swings.
There's something that's keeping you here because you're reaching out for help, and that's a good thing! Keep finding that thing that makes you get up and fighting! You're down but definitely not out! Get into counseling. Maybe counseling and/or meds but don't give up on life because we only get one and there are no do overs, plus why give her the satisfaction and laughter of saying, "Ha he killed himself because of me!"
