if you were the person making a decision about the welfare of a child in the following situation:
A grandmother watches her son beat his girlfriend, and mother of her grandchild until he breaks the girlfriend's hand by slamming a door onto it. She does nothing to stop it, does not call law enforcement, and when the girlfriend is taken to the ER lies about what happened, and so the girlfriend follows what she says and lies about what happened too instead of getting help.
Girlfreind gets hooked on drugs and so the child is without a caretaker cause dad hits some guy on a moped and drives away from the scene and the guy he hit dies.
Should grandma who watched her son beat the mother of her grandchild more than once and did nothing to help get this child placed in her care.

The fact that she tried to protect her son at all costs, tells me that if and when her son is released from prison she will once again empower him to be a dirt bag.
I wish she could be brought up on charges.
The son is a bully, does not seem to have any respect for human life.
The mother of the child is addicted to drugs and needs to get into rehab either willingly or via court order.
The grandmother is likely scared of her son and is likely to cover for his violence once he gets out of prison.
The child is the only victim that is innocent here, and all efforts need to be taken to get the child into a safe environment.
Where is the child's other grandparents?
what I am saying is... in this family if something like that happened i would run to the cops for safety... There is no way I could ever take on the ppl that live in this family.....
