Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Do you see a therapist, or are you on meds? Is there anything else you're doing to try to overcome your depression?
A lot of times depression will lift on its own, but it always helps if you're able to take some action. I know it's very, very hard when you feel really bad.
But it's like that old saying that crazy is doing the same thing and expecting different results. We have to do something different to make a change. Maybe it's finding a new doctor. But even if it's just taking a daily walk, or reading a self-help book, or writing down a list of your accomplishments. Once you do one different thing, it gives you momentum to do more, and bit by bit you can start to feel better.
There is NO WAY you are useless; you are a very kind, worthwhile person. Sending you lots of love and {{{{hugs}}} and hoping you feel better soon.
Keep posting and hopefully the support will help you get through this. Hugs

Keep coming back, and keep reaching out. You will find that you are not alone, and that there are many others who are dealing with similar things. And we all are in this together. The sharing means healing. So keep sharing!!!
