Things to do- Live life and simply enjoy. Last week my favorite thing that I did was to lay upon the warm concrete porch watching the sunset and texting my best friend as I felt the cool northern breeze on my skin. But rock-crawling in my Jeep also comes to mind. Last year my favorite thing to do may not be something that I even begin to enjoy next year. Almost anything is my favorite to one degree or another. And what I experience tomorrow may be my newest favorite thing... for the time being.

Color- All ( My favorite green color on a '69 GTO is quite different from my favorite crimson of an autumn sunset). The hue can certainly affect things as well. Upon closer inspection of that flower... I see not only lavender, but shades of pink...and maybe some blue, etc. Colors in nature will always be my favorites...but again, there are many variables of transparency, iridescence, chroma, hue, etc.

Food- If I really like something then I tend to over-do it and stay with that flavor/ taste until I am so burned out that I can't see straight. A few weeks ago I was addicted to peppermint patties. If I even took a sniff of one today, I would turn my nose up at it. Most my food favorites come and go. I could say "hamburgers but I would have to be specific... because those from McDonalds and those from the Texas Roadhouse are SO much different that I would have to be very specific to be honest.

Stores- Depends on my mood, what I need, the time of year, and who I'm with. The old True Value hardware store... but only with my dad, and probably when I was only 10 yrs old. Nowadays...idk... the store that I had fun in last week may just piss me off next week.

Author- Who knows. In my childhood, Richard Scary was my fave, but depends on who is writing what. God forbid if my childhood included reading of The Giving Tree had it been written by Stephen King.

Shows- I hate my favorites because I have watched them so many times.

Movie- Depends on the mood. I love Fatal Attraction. Do I want to watch that when I am in a new relationship with someone that seems a bit clingy... indeed not. I love Apocalypse Now... but when I'm feeling like self-harming... indeed not.

Actor/ Actress- They aren't really actual people to me since I don't know them. I have many that I like, but I don't want to idolize someone that behind the scenes may be an alcoholic spousal abuser. For acting abilities, there are too many different types of actors to have a favorite. I can't imagine Chevy Chase trying to convince me he was a psycho killer.

Place- When it's storming and pouring down rain... maybe snuggled into bed. On a warm spring day, you won't find me anywhere close to that bed. So many different places have been so cool to me, but those favorites can change in an instant. I used to think that one of my all time favorite places was the beach along the Texas coast, but after the devastation of hurricane Ike...those feelings have become quite bittersweet.

Song- My favorite would again be dictated by mood, how much I listen to it, and where I'm at in my life. I love country music but when I'm traveling through the ghettos of south Houston, you're not going to catch me playing much Tim McGraw. Nor will I listen to DJ Screw when I'm on my way to the rodeo.

Musical Genre- Old and new country, rap, popular rock, some classical, old rock, psychedelic, metal... those are most. But what is any of that nowadays... so much is influenced that it's hard to really tell what's what.

Animals- Every damn one of 'em... except cockroaches and mosquito's... God how I hate those little bastards.

OCD + indecisiveness = a lot of this.
