Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I am very active and can be outgoing no one would ever know that I'm depressed.
So, my question is.
What do you thnk of a neighbor or person that offers to do things for you without being asked.
example:
I'm going to the dump tommorrow, I went to my neighbors and told them if they had stuff they wanted thrown out to throw it on my truck.
Or if I make a huge thing of dinner and brought some over and offered it to you.
I sometimes think my neighbors think I'm so strange. I'm not looking for anything in return its just the way I am.
Maybe it just where,I live. I have to admit they are not the most open people we all are very cordial, but noe of us are that close.
I just feel like I'm the odd one on the block.Am I really odd?

what has happened to our world that these no longer surivie and thrive in our society? what has happened to the days like those . . . and yet at the same time i am guilty for feeling the same way as your neighbors would feel. i dont speak to my neighbors and i dont even say to people when i walk down the street . . . my face is usually pointed down and my breath is what i focus on, while letting my mind wander.
that being said, i think your a good neighbor to do that. they just need to figure out that you want nothing in return . . . most people these days are very Prudent and society its self has become a Social Darwnists dream. But in the end we all learn that everything leads to the greater nothing. that being said i don think you should stop unless you want to, i think its very kind and thoughtful of you, nothing wrong with that my dear. nothing wrong with that at all.
