Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

You are loved and cared for. Please hold onto that!
Having also been there 3 years ago as well, I have a feeling were a lot alike......The ONLY reason that i'm still here today, is because when I jumped and landed in the Fraser River that Canada Day night, I was knocked out so bad, from the way I hit the river.
The next thing I remember, I am in an isolation room in the Emergency psych department at the hospital.
If you need help and support, feel free to message me and I will do my best to be of help.
I know severe depression. It is an illness. Some chemicals missing in the brain. Go to your doctor and get help. I got help and am well now. You also need to talk to someone.
Life is worth fighting for. When you get help and get better you can help others. I am here to give you hope. Depression is common but no one wants to talk about it so it is hidden. It is not a weakness. It is an illness and many have it. You have to reach out for help. It takes courage but I know you can do that.
