Depression Supporters Support Group
This community is dedicated to spouses, children, relatives, co-workers and others who are actively supporting someone suffering from depression or other serious mental illness. Depression can bring about intense sadness, melancholia or despair that has advanced to the point of being disruptive, which can have a grave impact on the ability of others trying to help.
If you have a community center or County Social Services in your town why don't you check into Reading or Communication classes to help you with your reading/vocab and learning disability. Classes are usually fairly inexpensive if not free.

Just on the reading topic -- are there easier books you really enjoy and don't get frustrated with? I am a teacher and I always encourage readers to go for joy joy joy -- you don't have to go for "challenge" if it leads to frustration.
A lot of our struggles are about self acceptance and feeling safe emotionally. A great 13 minute TED talk on our brain and how we are wired for negative thinking AND how to change that is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpuDyGgIeh0&ab_channel=TEDxTalks
In it Rick Hanson teaches a strategy he calls HEAL ... and it's good. He begins by saying he was a socially isolated person and how he broke out of it...
I come here also because it feels like companionship in here and I like that. So you are not alone.
Sorry to hear about your struggles. I hope you will find the support you need. We are here for you. Stay safe. God bless.
