Post DVT pains

It will be two years since I was diagnosed with a DVT at 10 weeks pregnant. I had to take the Lovenox injections until my baby was 6 weeks old, so I stopped in November, 2016. I was referred to an Oncologist, where blood testing was done a year ago and it showed that I have factor II gene mutation and the D-Dimer was high at that point. I wasn't put on any blood thinners, though. I have recently been put on the mini pill birth control which is supposed to be safer for those who've had clots (I've taken it before with no trouble) and Wellbutrin. The last few days I've had that aching pain where the clot was behind my knee. Even two years later it still gives me a lot of trouble. I always fear I have another clot. Does anyone else have issues with the pain associated with having had a DVT? Does it ever go away?

My dvt was 10 years ago and still get intermittent pain, cramps, tingling etc. ‘m on life long anticoagulants.

I would though be a little concerned if the pain started shortly after starting birth control.

I'm over 5yrs out, & still get leg pain once in a while. Sometimes won't have for months, then comes on suddenly, lasts a day or 2, then gone again until whenever. There is no trigger either, hot/cold weather, it just is. My doctor won't put me on any birth control pills anymore, so if your pain started only after taking them, then I'd suggest getting it checked out.

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
