Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Support Group
Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.
And, not every clot is the same. I've had two DVTs (and one round of PEs) and my first DVT took about two years to feel 100%. The second one took about a week. Which is not to say that I was completely incapacitated for two years... just that that was about how long it took me to stop dropping into a limp when I was tired, when I felt like I could cross my legs again.
Hang in there!
