Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. I was experiencing extreme nausea for the longest time, and then it went away. I was thrilled. Now it's back. Ugh. I'm thinking it may come from too low an INR as I was off warfarin for four days for a procedure. My legs are feeling "crampy" as though I am on the very verge of a charlie horse. They were actually trembling a bit this morning. Vague dizziness. Grr. Do I have a lifetime of this to look forward to?

You could be feeling messed up because of the prep you had to do for your colonoscopy which can leave you really dehydrated. I have this problem when I get colonoscopies.

rmb - I'll bet you're right. I really haven't eaten much since Monday. Other "stuff" going on in my life that is upsetting... I'll buy water on the way to the lab this morning and drink it all day. Thanks!!

Maybe even some gatorade. Don't over do it. Just try to remind yourself to drink more and replenish. I know for me, two days before a colonoscopy I change up my diet a bit and then the day before you're stuck with liquids like broth and juice, but I get sick of that so I tend to just not drink anything after a while. Then with the prep itself you lose a lot of hydration. It's easy for things to go south a bit. Take care of yourself a bit, eat, drink and take it easy.
