Just got diagnosed with DVT

I have a blood clot in my right thigh. Just started Lovenox yesterday? My doctor didn’t exactly tell me how long till some of the pain goes away my leg is killing me. 



Does anyone have any advice? I am only 36 and this is a lot to deal with

For me the most severe pain lasted a few weeks. It really hurt but eventually it started to ease up. I’d mention it to your doc. I was prescribed pain meds, just a small amount and nothing too crazy, just to take the edge off so I could work and sleep. I think I took them

Thank you I just emailed them for something better then otc Tylenol.

This hurts worse the when I had broken my arm as a kid. To make matters worse I normally have a high tolerance for pain

Yeah same here. I’m pretty tough when it comes to pain and I’ve broken
a few bones in my life and gotta day the dvt pain topped all of them.

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
