Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Support Group
Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.

I thought I'd post something based on what I'm noticing in my own DVT/PE recovery.
My symptoms for my DVT have been pretty slight. I didn't know for sure that I had a DVT until it reached my lungs. Now I have some slight swelling behind my knee that has only hurt a little, but I notice the swelling sensation and I don't like it. I also notice that on the days it feels more swollen I end up feeling more fatigued by the end of the day.
I work mostly sitting in front of a computer, so as I have been recovering I've been able to work from home whenever it suits me. Two weeks ago I started going back to the office, but with all of my doctors appoints that are close to home, I have ended up splitting my time between home and work.
So here is my simple observation. My legs feel better at the end of the day when I actually go into the office. Even though I feel like I get up to walk around at home, I just don't do it as often. When I'm at the office my walks are longer. I have to go further to get a beverage here and I tend to walk faster. I also get up to pick up print outs or take a longer walk to get lunch.
I worked from home yesterday and by the end of the day my leg was more swollen than usual and I wanted to go to bed at 6pm.
Have others experienced the same thing? If so, maybe this can be encouragement to others to start getting back to a normal life rather than trying to fully recover from the safety of our home.

Now that I am not talking to my whatever best friend, I realized that her life is full of drama. I had grown tired of hearing her stories about her boyfriend many months ago. She basically had been monopolizing conversations for that long too. She pretty much stopped asking me questions about me. I passed her in front of her classroom the other day and didn't even look at her. I am...

Just had an interesting conversation with ChatGPT! It was kind of like talking kindly to myself. You should get the App. It's free.
