Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Support Group
Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.
Back pain can be indicative of so many things. I can't remember.... are you on warfarin right now?
(***yes, I'm joking about the DVD.)
But stress is my guess, this DVT business is enough to stress somebody out, that's what this place is good for, you can talk with others who have been in your shoes.
he back is a large area, so if it's lower back pain, that could be from sitting weird, sitting too long, muscle strain, constipation, female issues, ie ovarian cyst , kidney infection, etc. If it's upper back pain, that could from sitting weird, sitting too long, muscle strain, tension (I get this a lot between my shoulder blades) sleeping funny, gall bladder, heart attack, lung issues etc.
So this can be a lot of things and I think clots would be low on the list.
Being on vacation is def a situation where your back could be irritated by something...car ride, new bed or pillow, different activity than the norm. As rmb stated, depending on where the pain is could tell a lot. No fever or anything, correct?
