Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Support Group
Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.
I have posted on this cite before. But I wanted to comment because I know how hard/a roller coaster of emotions this has been for me. I am 40 years old and I was in excellent health, exercised all the time and ate super healthy..I was a Zumba instructor and I guess I still am. However, I certainly am not able to dance as I once did yet. However, I have started to notice it is getting easier to dance on my left (DVT) leg. But I am only a little over 3 months out, so I expect a lot of improvement to come.
I have read a lot of new DVT posts and the anxiety/fear that is involved. I am not trying to preach or step on anyone's toes..but I think what has helped me the most is turning to God/the Lord in times of trouble. I have listened to a lot of Joel Osteen as he is very positive and uplifting and I submit prayer requests for healing at my church every week. I know this has given me strength and allowed me to try and give this to God and let him handle it..
Just sharing what has helped for me as it might help others..

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
