Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Support Group
Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.

I was never a drinker, even on or off warfarin, so I don't have any good input on this. I know many of the lifers have a drink every so often ... some more than others! It is totally do-able, just don't get falling down drunk.
whereas if you binge dringe (say on a weekend) then this can mess your INR level up because your body isnt used to you drinking and as a natural blood thinner will mess your INR level up!
so basically i was told you either be an alcoholic or dont drink at all haha nightmare!
I think a cheeky drink now and again wont hurt anyone! they are more worried about people getting drunk, falling over and cutting themselves i think rather than messing the INR level up!
