I think some people feel that it is, but dizziness can be caused by many things so it's hard to say.

Did the dizziness start when you started taking warfarin or is this a new development?

Being anemic or dehydrated etc can also cause dizziness, as can sinus issues, allergies, etc. So don't get too freaked out. It could be something relatively benign causing this.

Also... if you're under a lot of stress and have anxiety, sometimes that can manifest into physical symptoms like dizziness, shortness of breath, body aches, chest pain, tingling in limbs etc. I just saw your status and assume you've got a lot of crap going on.

ohhhhhh, to put it mildly I am under stress. But - I am also dx'd with low B12 and very low VD. That could be why too.

Aw, you're welcome. Yeah deficiencies like that can make you feel so weird too. It could be a combination of things. Deep cleansing breath... it'll get sorted out.

You gotta take care of your whole self: mind, body and spirit. If one is out of whack, it's all out of whack. Hope things even out for you.

I've had dizziness for a ton of different reasons, but none of them were related to warfarin. Dehydration, low BP, sinus issues, neck problems, anxiety...

Cut yourself some slack and make sure you're babying yourself a little bit. Sounds like you have a lot going on so it really is hard to say what is causing what. Hang in there!

This "illness" almost completely coincided with the end of a six year long relationship (two-year engagement). I came home from visiting my son in DC and he was gone. I mean literally gone. I had been texting with him on the way home in the car but when I arrived home (my home by the way) the house was lit up like a church, every door unlocked but no him!! Needless to say...

Needless to say... I'm so sorry that happened to you. That is messed up. Hopefully once you're over the shock and pain of that, you'll see that was a deeply bad bad bad man that had no business being in your life to begin with. I don't know you so I may be out of line here, but ... wipe that shit off your shoe and be thankful that waste of skin is out of your life. Chin up, shoulders back, and put on your ass kicking boots. It's a new day.

As for the dizziness, mine is usually caused by sinus issues or dehydration. Drinking water, doing a Neti pot generally help me. I also suffer from middle ear issues, which can be caused by a particulate in the fluid in the semicircular canals. This is more of a vertigo thing for me. But obviously if you are really dizzy, you should see your doc ASAP. Especially being on anti coags, falling is a risk.

It took me five years to get over a marriage that went bad. I have only had two one night stands since 2002. I'm just so afraid of getting emotionally involved with someone. You will get better. Time does heal all wounds and in time you will have a mended heart. I know it doesn't seem like things will get any better right now, but trust me, they will. I also get some slight diziness but most likely from the pain meds. I hope you feel better.
