When I was working a lot of us would put things in the crock pot and come home and it was all done. It was so nice not to have to start cooking just after you finished work. It was a godsend. Then, I never had one for years and I really missed it. I wouldnt be without one now. You dont have to worry about it blowing up, Arline. LOL
Maybe if you didnt add water to that chicken mushroom soup, it would be ok in the crock pot, sunny
But I am still looking for a chopper. Someone had told me to look for a mini cuisinart but the reviews online were so-so. They said Kitchen Aid was better - back to square 1. I should just go to Target and buy one and if I didn't like it return it.
I love making roasts and crockpots - even when I lived alone. a good "stew with beef, onions, peppers and mushrooms and served with something like potatoes (mixed), a rice or a favourite of ours cauliflower and broccoli with a little carrot - or some mixed veg - even brusselsprouts.
What the hell is a chop chop salad?? If you just want to chop and onion then use your knife, forget the chopper because this is going to be like the cable Tv thingy ROTFL. To many parts to hard o clean and it doesn't do what you want and no room in your kitchen. You kill me......
One size cuts all, the more you spin the finer it gets.
They have different size cuts, Arline.. just as Sunny said. I like them quite a bit and use them a lot.
What is a cobb salad? Corn on the cob?
Next to that I like that seven layer salad I put on the recipes in the summer for a change sometimes.
Hathani you don't like bacon? They had avacodos 5 for $1.00 yesterday I couldn't believe it. I bought five but wish you could save em, freeze em but you can't. I have blown my diest this week also by eating eating and can't seem to fill up. Crazy it must be the cold or something but I keep thinking what can I have what will satisfy me? Awful!! And this doesn't help Lol
Can you just see being served a corn on the cob salad? ROTFL!
Know what? I have heard everyone talk about avacados, but I have never, ever had one. Are they like kiwis?
I think it must be the cold air, Sunny. I know our body automatically responses to cold or heat. Maybe you arent used to the cold, so arent used to the cravings of your body
