I've been getting 9 year old news feeds too. I suspect that they have managed to get some old accounts back, and in the process triggered news feeds from those accounts.

bill, this happened last week with the fixes they are doing. they are aware and if it's acting up again, that probably means that they are working on the other fixes they talked about.
