I'm so sorry you are struggling. I have several chronic illnesses and can understand what it's like when your body betrays you and no longer moves, behaves, or performs in the way you command it to. It's a real loss and you almost have to grieve the old you, and come to accept this new you that emerges with this illness. The struggle is real and it is not easy. Is there anything left that you are able to enjoy...music, movies, art, reading, etc... I find it helpful to engage in at least one pleasant activity a day if I can....it gives me something to look forward to, and it makes all the other illness related stuff seem not quite so bad if I can enjoy at least one thing.

I dont know if it helps, but there is also a group specifically for Muscular Dystrophy....I dont know how active it is, but you may want to check it out so you have more than one group to go to for support.

Thank you for your support. My body is failing me and I am very restricted in what movements I can make. I still enjoy music, movies and reading, but my health dominates everything and I don't want to live with this. I am in chronic pain, feel isolated and sad and don't want to live anymore.
