Hi Folks!

The site will receive an update tomorrow (December 7th) morning. Here is what will be in the update:

- When you create a group the visibility options will now say “Public” and “Unlisted”, instead of “Private” and “Unlisted”.

- Other member’s content from unlisted groups will no longer show up in the posts you may be interested in area.

- Multiple changes to the navigation menus at the top of the page, as well as to the cover photos on group and profile pages.

- In the A-Z section of the Support Groups directory page you will now see all support groups, instead of just the support groups that begin with a specific letter from the alphabet that you have clicked on.

- There will also be other minor adjustments to the look and feel of the site.

We’ll post again tomorrow after the site has been updated.

Thanks Patti :) I got that one. Maybe its been fixed since this morning? I do see one other friend who sent me one but I did not get it. Oh wait, I just looked again and I see what happened. The hug was meant for me but she sent it to the wrong person lol. Cute.

Fish, its not clearly listed unfortunately but if you click on the title of the group at the top of the post's page :
(Current Events / DailyStrength Members Community Support Group) it will take you back to the list of posts.

I also wanted to add that I REALLY like that the avi's are bigger to the left of each post. Now I can see what they are instead of a blob. I like looking at avi's lol.

If the Original Post could be outlined in Black maybe?

Or a Grey Bar with the name of the Board in it attached directly above it? (Such as is done now with the other "POSTS YOU MAY BE INTERESTED IN")

With Navigation to "left arrow First, numbers, Last right arrow" directly underneath??

Please? Please? Please?

And, and, and, maybe if we click on the little balloon with the number of posts under it...if that could take us to the LAST POST, instead of the first??

Please? Sugar on top? I make a really good homemade apple pear pie....

One thing that is really important to me is privacy when I need it. I want a block feature. I like the ignore button but I do not want these people I have ignored being able to message or hug me at all, or see my stuff. I am trying to get out of the habit of skimming through posts before I log on because I can still see these people I have blocked but that is my responsibility. I had hope for that improvement and have my fingers crossed its in the list of planned improvements.

I wonder if we should make a list of wants and needs. I am glad I am not getting a ton of errors yet.

@Dooo, I don't think that you can message or hug someone that has blocked you...although I may be wrong.

As for seeing posts on the main boards...if they're on the main boards...I think that they should be open to everyone, even people that you've blocked. I think it would be too easy for someone to abuse someone if it was set up that way.

(And really, if you think about it, it's totally possible to look at the boards without logging into DS under your username anyway...so they could see your posts that way.)

Fish - if you go to your profile picture navigation you can access just your groups. I do not even use those buttons though, I have everything bookmarked in my browser. Faster and easier.

Chrome has a way to change font size on many websites. I don't know if DS wants it to work on theirs, but right now it doesn't. However the zoom feature does work well.

(With Chrome you go to the 3 dots beside the address bar for the website, Click on that and about midway down is the zoom feature. Then use the plus or minus keys to zoom in and out.)

Another glitchdate? Great stuff, DS PTB! Letters orders lapping other words, OPs are especially bad. I do love smaller banner, but not when I have to press MY GROUPS each and every time I press Support
Groups.

My suggestion is to get someone who understands computer programming, and GETS what it is we have been asking for. I'm not sure why the print is so tiny, when half the page is empty.

This is kind of like being in some kind of horrific experimental lab, where you have been kidnapped, so they can see how many glitches it takes before you go insane. As in a gibbering idiot!

I do hope the obvious errors will be corrected soon? Not holding my breath, that is for sure!

A fiasco. I know of no other site that uses, for example, the same irrelevant picture to represent multiple categories. Updating the same bad concept makes no sense.

Two requests please… Make it so that the letters don't overlap each other on the first several posts. You can't read the original post or the next few replies that follow! This is happening on the I pad not the I phone for some reason. And....please please please restore the name of the person who made the last reply on each post. You do it under "Posts you may be interested in", why not on the main posts that we actually ARE interested in???
