For thouse who know who you are. This is not a dating site. I'm tyerd of getting friendship requests and reading your profiles and reading your status with sex wording. I am totally apald by this. This site is for those who are going through hard time's. You don't belong here. Please leave this site. You hackers belong in ( PRISON ) I have been through to much in my life to take a back seat. and just be silent. That will not happen. if so i will hunt you down to protect the ones here on DS no mater who. Updeded. from origenal.

Those are old profiles that have been hacked. If you get one, let me or another CL know who it is so we can report it.

DS is working on a fix and will post a note about it soon.

If it is any comfort, all these are getting posted by a 'bot' .... software robot, not a real person. A bot can create or 'revive old' accouts by the thousands in a matter of seconds. Just know, these are not real people asking for 'friendship'.

If you get a friend request, check the PROFILE before accepting.

It's a scam like dozens of others. From the time that I've first came on here 11 years ago, Dailystrength has had them.


Behind the scenes, Sharecare works hard to get rid of them, but it's a constant battle. This one is taking longer than most to fix, but I have faith in Dailystrength that they'll eventually beat it.

I agree. I’ve been here since 2007 and this not the first time I’ve seen this type of thing although this time seems a little mor sophisticated. It’s kind of a battle on a lot of sites. Hang in there, and just reject the request. I’ve gotten a couple of them but knew there was an issue so I just denied the request and didn’t sweat it.

Thanks for the info. I always check the profile first. I have not gotten any new requests of late since I've deleted them.

Well, rmb. I did sweat it because I did not want anyone to see that I was being solicited for sex. :))

Well the good thing is being solicited for sex in this manner isn’t a personal reflection of you. Spamming, hacking etc is so common now when using social media or on line that it’s just not worth getting worked up about it.

That’s what I meant by not sweating it.

    It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a  pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
