Hi folks!
The next site update is tentatively scheduled for late next week, after Labor Day. Here is what will be included in the site update:
- You will be able to update your profile status message.
- Content from unlisted groups will no longer show up in the activity feed.
- When other members view your profile they will no longer see the unlisted groups you’ve joined.
- The feeds and also the list of discussions in a group will display the username of the member who added the latest reply, as well as the date of the last reply. Ex: Last Reply By: TeamDS 22 days ago .
- The intermittent issue some members have experienced where nothing happens when you click a button to post should be fixed.
- Line spacing in discussion posts and journal entries will be reduced.
- The font color for links in your profile activity feed will be changed so that you can easily see what is a link vs normal plain text.
- The notification indicator by your avatar (top right side of page) will include the count for new private messages (this is helpful for members who use a mobile device).
- Profile pages for closed accounts will only show a username, default cover photo, default silhouette avatar, and a message stating that the account does not exist.

I recently heard a great 2007 song the other day, "Falling Slowly" because it popped up in my newsfeed, accompanied by the sad news that the male singer, Glen Hansard, just died in a motorcycle accident. I learned that the song won an award and was featured in an indie movie called Once. I just watched it, and it's really good. They made it in 3 weeks on a $100,000 budget. It's streaming on...

It would be nice to get the opportunity to have my wish list considered.
I sure wish you would fix the bugs that you introduce when you make changes. (load more --> show more).
I sure wish you would ask us what we thought was important, so we could help you prioritize your changes.
From what I see, nobody is paying much attention. A very simple example is dates. what you list now, and say you'll list in the furture are "relative dates." 22 hours ago, works, 3 days almost works. Why don't you just say 09/02/16 12.42 pm, or whatever standard format you want?
Thank you (from one who walks a thin line)
You said, "I sure wish you would ask us what we thought was important, so we could help you prioritize your changes."
They as much as asked us that when they invited us to participate in the beta testing. Many of us did and almost all of us told them about the issues/bugs. We we also told them what we wanted - over and over again. They promptly IGNORED pretty much everything we said and launched the site, KNOWN problems and all!!!
ACTIONS ALWAYS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. Just sayin...
