In the beginning, they said to create a new email address. That, IMHO, is not a fix. Many of us tried that, only to end up not receiving any alerts at the new email address. Then we had an extra email for no reason. :-(( :-((
Go figure.
Just be SURE the email address you have registered w/ DS is current ... then try feedback form. After that ... not much more can be done.
The "watch this" feature is currently not functioning. Our engineers are aware of this, but with DailyStrength's limited resources I am unable to provide a timeline of when the problem will be fixed.
This bug (as well as a few others) are listed here:

brockblack, we have been dealing with this for years. I continue to click on "watch this" and always hope a get an email when other's reply. That is not going to happen. I do hope one day it will happen but not taking any bet's on that. :-)
MTC, even if you were to ever get a feedback it is so generic and really covers nothing concerning this problem.
Jesse, thanks for the info. I do feel like DS does want to make things work right as so many are leaving.
brock, if this helps....I always write down what I posted or what I found interesting so I could go back and read. I have to write stuff down.....my memory has left me.....just as DS members and email alerts. lol.
Hugs all around.
One by one, every option needed to effectively support each other has been broken or removed and not replaced. All that seems to be left are journals, hugs and the forums. And there are times those don't work right and/or are not accessible, as well.
*only the red face shows up in friends in need tab (not sure that it still works). That cuts out a lot of orange-faced people in need.
* no email alerts of any kind so I don't know when someone posts a journal, thread or hug or when someone comments on a thread I wrote in a support group. I am definitely not the only one dealing with this
*the friends activity page only goes out about 3 1/2 pages (yet the links indicate that it goes out 10+ pages, so if one or more friend sends mass hugs (which happens a LOT), then all the other notifications disappear and that means there is NO way to know if someone wrote a journal, etc.
*there is no more chat - yes, private messaging still works, but it makes it much more difficult to have a real time conversation
I've been on DS since 2007 and it was a lifeline for me. I am still here because I want to pay it forward, but I don't have time to go to each person's profile to see if they have posted a new journal or thread (BTW, people mention this very concern in various threads)
I have made some wonderful & close friendships here. Sadly it is much more difficult to build and cultivate friendships because we have fewer safe ways to do it.
If I remember correctly, Doug created this site so that members could give and receive support to each other. And there were things in place to help us do that. And now there aren't. :-((
It just makes me really sad that sharecare has not been willing to bring this site back to its original purpose and full functionality.
I know that Jesse and other DS staffers can only do so much with resources provided.
Over the past couple of years I have called sharecare corporate office several times to express my concerns. NO ONE has ever bothered to return my calls. This includes the CEO's (Jeff Arnold) office.
I am discouraged, disheartened and disappointed that the sharecare powers that be have chosen to not respond to DS members' concerns. Not just by not returning calls, but also by not restoring the functionality of this site so that we can easily continue to give/receive support in the spirit of Doug's original intent.
I've been on DS since '07 as well. I actually asked DS to have us get more than 10 spots(one page) on the Activity page. They told me it was a great idea and now we can go back much longer.
As messed up with this place there has got to be a reason we still hang around. I would never go away from my very good friends. Facebook is not for me....as everyone keeps telling me to go. I think I will stay here with the confidence that all will be well, sooner than later. :-)
