I am making this post in the hopes that a DS member will see it and make some sense of this madness...none of my feedback forms, messages are e-mails have been answered.
This is getting absolutely out of control. I can't even count on both hands the number of issues that are going on here. The main one being meebo, seeing that people in crisis can't reach each other (some people don't have Facebook or prefer to remain anonymous, and others have trouble on the phone.)
Also, the new feed is a MAJOR hindrance. I have no idea what's going on with anybody. The double posts are a pain the butt, too.
When it gets bad I try to take a deep breath and remind myself that DS is a free and does major service to all of us here. But it's very frustrating when we can't get a straight answer, and we rely on this site as one of the tools to get us through hard times.
When will Meebo be back up? It has been over two weeks at this point.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
We still have hugs and PMs as well as replies we can use to support our friends. But I do agree that Meebo is a lot better.
They are working on it; last Friday they got word to the CLs that they are working on it. I wish they could give us a precise date, I'm sure that when they find the solution they will tell us.
"Our engineering team has been hard at work fixing many of the bugs that have been reported since our successful migration. We are happy to report that the a code release is expected in the next 1 to 2 weeks that will resolve the following major issues as well as many smaller ones:
- Email digests
- Meebo Chat
- Recent Activity Feeds
- Journal Editor for IE9
We will communicate our progress as we get closer to the date of our next release."
So I guess they had no real idea when it was going to happen.
Just wish that someone would come on and let US know what the go is here.
I just want the email alerts and/or activity page resolved as well as the time sorted.....living on the other side of the world does make it hard to work things out now.
And I know others want the Chat back -----------
This is not helping us be of support to each other that is for sure!
No communication sends a HUGE message....and it's not a positive one. It only takes a minute to update every couple of days........

I for one miss talking to my friends on here like nobody's business. And others I know do too. We need our contact back! =(
