A Few Updates and Key Tips from DailyStrength
Hi DailyStrength Community,
We hope that you had a great July 4th. We have been reading all of your feedback and we greatly appreciate your taking the time to let us know what you are seeing and what changes you want to the site. We did want to let you know about a few upcoming fixes and answer a few questions that have come up about how to access and use certain areas of the new DailyStrength.
First, we fixed many of the login and password issues some you have been experiencing. We are continuing to identify and fix a few remaining bugs. Fixing the login/password issues are our number one priority.
One note: If you have the password saved in your keychain (or if you see a pre-filled in password when you go to sign in) you will need to override that and type in your new password when you come to the site. You can, then, have your computer remember your new password.
We have been listening to your feedback and are making some immediate changes to provide you with a better site experience. Some of the changes that will be rolling out over the next week or so include:
- Increasing the sign in time to be two hours rather than one. Having timed sign-out is there to protect your privacy but we know that it can take a while to write a journal so we will increase it.
-The news feed will be fixed so that you will see fresh content when you click the “show more” button.
- After you post a comment on journal or a discussion topic you will be redirected back to the last page of comments.
- Some font sizes will be changed, making it easier to view content on the site.
- Changing the order of your friend list so that members who are online will show up at the top of your friend list.
- We will also be adding paragraph breaks to replies and making the reply font larger.
After these changes, we will immediately go to work on some of the other site issues including making reply boxes larger, adding support group titles in the newsfeed, and a number of other issues that have been identified by the community.
We have also seen questions about how to access your support groups quickly. Once you sign into the site, you will see a bar at the top of every page of the site. The middle section of that bar says "support groups". You can always click on that to quick get to your group list.
Finally, a note on your signed in newsfeed. That is only your friends and your groups. If you have tagged something to just appear to your friends, it will only show up in their newsfeeds, not the feeds of the community-at-large.
We will continue to update as we make changes. Please reach out if you have questions and remember you can always access the FAQ to get answers.
Thank you again!

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

You can't fix this new design of yours, unless you redo the whole thing radically or revert to the old site.
Thankyou for actually talking to us it makes a change from your nnot so good video.
You really need to put some thought into this and mange space much better! The bottom banner can also be made much smaller and really doesn't need to be on every single page! OK that's my 2 cents, I will pray for you people! God Bless
And paragraphs in the replies!! Why would you remove them? I run a member group, and our replies to posts are often very long! They become impossible to read - 'a wall of text" without paragraphs. This is not a social media site. It is a support group. And sometimes supporting someone takes a lot of words. Please bring back paragraphs in the replies!
