Hey, y'all. Yes, I'm southern and I can both speak and type in southern.
I wanted to introduce myself and tell y'all a little about me. I am no doubt what you would call a survivor. I came back from flat lining in an ER room, which is how we found out my body doesn't like nitro paste. The paste about caused my heart to stop. I had to fight back from a spinal injury that about put me in a wheel chair for the rest of my life. I was losing control of my left leg. Although I do have some live-long nerve damage, I pretty much regained control of everything. Most recently, I had a large area of my left triceps removed due to skin cancer. I was told I'd never have full strength in that arm again, maybe 60%. Silly doctors. Not only did I get all my strength back, but I added to it just because the doctor said it couldn't be done.
I'm a very driven and purpose-minded man. But, I'm also human. I, like anyone else, have my good days and bad days where diet is concerned. I'm fighting back now harder than I ever have. I'm currently 337 pounds. I've dropped almost 15 pounds since the first of the year. I have a large amount of lean muscle mass, but because of poor diet, I also have a lot of abdominal fat. Getting rid of that fat is my primary goal and that goal will only be achieved by a healthy diet that matches my level of activity.
Its a pleasure to be here.

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
