My son is 21 and tired of taking all the meds and treatments and basically has stopped pretty much everything.
I don't know what to do. Any advice on what you have gone through with a child who will not take care of themselves and what you have done, I would greatly appreciate it! Right now the only thing I can do is accept that he is an adult and it's his choice. The more I bug him about it only makes him rebel even more. But I'm so scared that he will get past a point of no return before figures out that he needs to get it together.
I have been studying nutrition and firmly believe that cutting out all processed foods with chemicals and preservatives, processed white flour and sugars etc. eating as much organic as possible and using only whole foods makes a huge difference in his health as well as my own. (I myself have had chronic headaches and stomach problems for over 20yrs that I thought was stress induced until I changed my diet and now all that is completely gone!)
I have tried to teach him this as well. That eating real food can help him fight infection, repair damaged cells more quickly and efficiently, increase his strength and stamina, decrease his risk of diabetes etc. and decrease his need for so many meds. He is resistant to this as well, but has noticed that he has so much more energy since we changed what we eat!

I have a 17 yr old daughter who has been somewhat non-compliant.Her lung function is low and it worries me.I am afraid that if she ever leaves home, she wont do her meds at all.I hope she will see how much she needs them.Has anyone heard about the new vx-770 and vx-809. These drugs are suppose to be a great help as soon as the FDA approves them.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
