so, my sputum is supposed to be naturally thick, obviously, and i usually do hypertonic saline to loosen it up. but for about 3 days now, i cant cough up barely anything but i feel it all in my lungs and it makes me cough so severely, its painful to my chest, back, and stomache. my mucus is so thin, its watery. also, ive had chills, body aches, and headaches starting about thursday. ive been to the doctor about three times now in the last 3 weeks. the first time, they put me on zyvox, thinking it was an infection, and tamiflu to keep me from getting H1N1. well the zyvox did nothing for me, and im still coughing up thin mucus. 2nd time, they did a flu test and my long term and short term was negative. they put me on prednizone and singulair for my sinus drainage. sunday morning, i woke up with the severe chills, body aches ect. i havent had a fever and no nausea yet. the third time i went in was today, and they put me back on tamiflu and told me to up my therapy. tonight the chills and aches have come back, its difficult to breathe, and as much as i do my therapy i barely cough anything up. maybe a tablespoon. but throughout the day ive coughed up about 10 tablespoons and end up swallowing them because i dont have access to spit. so my stomache is filled with this crap, and i cant even eat. i feel like i have pnemonia as i have looked up the symptoms, but im not sure its bad enough to even be that. is there anyone that is or had the same problem? my doctors have no idea it seems, and i need help
