I'm new to this site so bear with me lol. I was recently dating a girl when mf cf acted up and I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. She stayed with me at the hospital the whole time and I thought I finally found the one that would stick with me through the hard times. She broke up with me today because "I would never be able to recover if something happened to you". My question is, how do you find someone who will stick with you through the hard times? I'm a 22 year old male and never have problems meeting girls its just when they hear cystic fibrosis they run for the hills lol

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? I am in love with a guy and have been for years who has CF. He is 24 and I am 22 now. I think he avoids getting close to people past a certain point because of his disease. I am sorry you have to live with this disease. If it helps you to feel any better I will say this. I am a healthy person and as hard as it would be I would be with a person with CF or any other illness for that matter if I truly loved them. I have seen people close to me I love die and it just takes someone with a certain level of acceptance to be able to do that. I realize that if I wanted a future with this guy then I would have to accept the inevitable that he wouldnt be around forever. Its heartbreaking and its not fair. At the same time.. some time with the person you truly love is better than no time and its worth it. So just know that there are some girls out there who would stick by you. ;-) It takes an extra strong and loving person but just imagine how amazing that person will be when you find them. Its called true unconditional love.. so many people have conditions in order to fully give their heart to someone. Its sad for them really. And they will probably never experience deep deep love because of it.
