I just talked wiz a Doc and he told me he is going to ake surgery to cut out z narrowing part . i had a resection 5 years ago and they took out 50 cm from larg and small .
Now i am thinking wht to do, can i live wiz z pain that comes and off from z narrowing and to have surgery again ? the pain is on and off obstruction , but when it come its so bad and makes me weak and take my all energy .
other they say Crohns is not flaring and under control ... i am on humira and imuran .
so wht is ur advice , i dont really want to go again for surgery , since i am 28 years old ....confusing ..just ur thought will be helpfull.

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
I don't really have any advice since I've not gone through this, but I wanted to reach out. I wonder if the narrowing could get worse if you don't have the surgery. You may want to ask the doctor for the risks of having the surgery and not having the surgery so you can make an informed decision.
I hope others here who have been through a similar situation will chime in.

After 2 more hospital stays in the last 40 days from blockages, I am asking them to remove the areas. My doctors told me that it depends on WHERE the narrowing is happening ..and in MY case it would not be a good idea right now due to the area. That strictures would form back very quickly and be the same or worse.
However I talked to a nurse while in the hospital this last time, who is in her late 20's and she had a large area removed.. She has a pouch now. She is doing great and said she wished she had done it sooner. So I think it depends on WHERE the narrowing is happening the most.
