Something doesn't feel right

Hi guys,
First of all thank you for all your wonderful advice so far. Really appreciated!
As some of you know, I went and saw Gastro Dr yesterday and he's leaning towards IBS and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Now i have been milling over it the past 24hrs, and something just doesn't sit right. I have tried to accept i have IBS, but there are some worrying symptoms that have made me feel less and less human.
Apart from all the bowel stuff, I have had extreme fatigue. I mean today I didnt get out of bed, I felt too tired to do anything. I just lay there not knowing what to do with myself. I have had reallly bad nausea that has made me lose my appetite considerably. I mean I love food, and I enjoy eating, but i've been living on crackers and rice cakes. I also have had splitting headaches that make my eyes hurt. I just feel a shell of a human.
I've been on other forums and stuff asking different questions and have been labelled with anxiety issues by people who don't even know me! Now if you knew me, you would know that is totally untrue.
Something inside of me just doesn't sit right with accepting its IBS and chronic fatigue syndrome. Now I don't even know if i have IBD, but I know a lot of you guys have been misdiagnosed with different things for years.
I can't just go to another Dr, because I went to someone privately for an initial consult and it cost a lot. (long story with insurance etc. but I pay first and them claim back and British Private Health Care)
I got some blood done as talked about in previous posts and I am hoping that will give them some sort of clue of whats going on. But from what I hear they aren't always accurate to pinpoint whats going on in ur intestines etc.
Sorry to keep writing these but I feel more lost then ever.

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
Have you been tested for anemia? Many people with IBD suffer from it. Anemia can cause that kind of fatigue.
Also, have you had your thyroid levels checked? If your thyroid is off, it makes EVERYTHING off and it can mess with your GI sytem.
Hopefully, the blood work will provide some answers. But if not, keep pushing your GI doc or your regular doc until you're satisfied.
I was told that i had IBS when i was 18 and at 24 i was told i had Crohns, it took that long!!
However, during that period in Limbo you have to learn to control your mind, try doing what i do and say i feel better and you do, that helps me sometimes - and i mean sometimes!! Sometimes there may be something else underlaying but your body is not showing it yet, if there appears to be nothing for the doctors to see then you may need to try to help yourself.
Are you based in England? If so there are amazing doctors in the Royal Free Hospital, North London, they are the leading doctors in that area and that is where i am treated - thank god!!

I smoked for 26 years and thought I had IBS because I had constipation etc. Never experienced what I have now. When I quit smoking within a few months I started experiencing a major shift in activity and it got worse an worse. I felt really bloated and it was painful. I guess to describe it would be like the worse flu you ever experienced. Puking, diarreha, dyhration, etc are all part of it. And you lose your appetite. The reason I brought up smoking is because later I found out they do link quit smoking to people experiencing thier 1st flare with UC. I didn't go back to smoking but I do wear nicotin patches to help with the UC.
I don't think w/o proper testing they can determine IBD. IBS I think is when they really don't know- through it under that catagory. Just my thought.
