I've been really trying to keep my stress in check right now because I've had some life changes in the past few months and know how important it is to manage stress when you have a chronic condition, and how easy it is for things to get out of control. I try to make sure I get out and go for a really good walk at night, after work, just to sort of take things down a notch in my head. I find that to be the best thing to do for unwinding, sorting out my thoughts, getting a plan in place when I feel overwhelmed, etc. I think stress relief can just be making little changes, like taking deep breaths, walking, a quick meditation, laughing, listening to music, etc.

I also think relinquishing some control can help. If you're married, have your husband handle more stuff. If you're not, ask someone to help you with the kids so you have some alone time. I think sometimes we just have to work smarter, not harder,you know what I mean?
