Hi, It's hard to say. It could also be IBS (there's no bleeding associated with IBS because it's not an inflammatory disease). Did you discuss these symptoms with the GI who performed your colonoscopy?

Yes and he said that the internal hymroids can cause bleeding and gave me a script for suppositories but i don't know.

Yeah it makes sense the bleeding would be from hemorrhoid. Is the blood red (not black)? That means it's coming from the lower part of your bowels, or rectum. When he did the colonoscopy he would have seen if the bleeding was coming from the bowels.

What did the GI say about what may be causing your diarrhea/constipation?

You know it could be your diet. The lack of fiber is what causes Hemorrhoids. I bet if you added some fiber or probiotics, ate veggies and fruits you'd feel a whole lot better.

Crohn's would have been discovered in your colonoscopy and it doesn't cause bleeding usually.

It also seems to act up and bleed when i eat to much salad especially if the salad has raw carrots in it,my rectum gets sore, i get a burning sensation in the rectum area then the bleeding it drive's me nuts!

jimpoe, That sounds like major hemorrhoid problems, which I know from experience. I agree with Ashley that a diet adjustment may be needed. I go on a low residue diet when my 'roids act up and it helps. Have you tried the suppositories? They can work wonders in my experience.

Also agree the doctor would have found some indication during the colonoscopy. Have you discussed the full range of symptoms you mention here with your doctor?
