Fiber for Ulcerative Colitis

So went to Dr. and they said start taking citrucell powder fiber and see if that helps your colitis. SO i did and since then I have not had a flair nore loose stool since I started and we are going on a week and a half! I got the orange flavored sugar free kind and it actually taste good! I hope it stays working forever! So maybe you should try it, you might be amazed!!!

I've been taking fiber supplements,eating high fiber foods and taking probiotics regularly for the last two years. While I am currently in the tail end of a flare at the moment, I do not experience loose stools.

But upping the fiber may depend on where you are with the diseases. So, people should probably check with their docs before starting to increase fiber.

Yes that is true talk to your doctor, when I wrote this I meant that you should consult Dr. and this is meant for people who have Colitis, not just any disease! So talk to Doctor and see if it is right for you!

i've been alreadi suggestes,ryt frm the tyme wen i was said to have a severe UC,to take alott of fibre food and for dis reason,ive started eating,brown rice,cornflakes,home made breads...........
ive been told not to eat sweets or any cabohydrated stuffz,or dairy products....

but currently,m juz tryin eating watver cumz my way,to chk watz gud for my stomach nd watz not

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
