Otherwise, I really don't take much pain medication for my arthritis. My doc did prescribe sulfasalazine which is an old school drug for some rheumatoid arthritis and UC, and that seems to help me feel less stiff and pain, but the pain is still present. I do find that sometimes ice or heat helps.
There are many foods known to perhaps trigger inflamation. Like processed foods, meats like salami, sugar, etc.
There is talk about nightshade veggies, but i havn't tried gong without any veggies. I think going without the crap is enough, I go without that, and dairy, and pork, and redmeat, and gluten. Not giving up healthy food too. At least not yet. I havn't done any experiementing with it.

But, i have had this psoriais for many years, limited mostly to my elbows, but now on my knuckles which I find more embarressing because of shaking hands and what not.
My TCM/accupuncturist gave me a new herb to address it a few days ago. I will let you know how it works if anyone is interested. He has given me 2 other herbs in past that have helped me greatly, so I will be excited it this works. I have lotions and globs of globby stuff from doctors, but nothing really has gotten rid of it. We'll see.
