Arnica tablets

Hello I was wondering if any of you have had any experience of taking Arnica tablets?
My son has Crohn's disease which is in remission, thankfully, but as we all know this vile disease brings other issues.
He plays football for 3 teams now, and does bruise quite easily, I put arnica cream or arnica cooling gel on the bruises on the skin but i was wondering if it would be better or more helpful if i gave him an arnica tablet and heal the bruise from the inside out?

Or am i thinking in totally the wrong way?

He is on azathioprine 100mg, omega-3 and a b-complex tablet daily

I think bruising is fairly normal for anyone who plays sports regularly and it could be too that the omega -3 is making him more prone tobruising. But if the bruising isn't causing issues, like a hematoma, not sure you need to really do anything. I'm on an anticoagulant to prevent blood clots so I bruise very easily and I just leave them alone. I'm also on azathioprine actually.

I don't know much about amica but just from the quick read I did on line, sounds like the word is still out on whether it really is that effective.

PS: I didn't mean to make it sound like I was poopoo using the cream. I don't think that can hurt and if he sees improvement then why not. I know though for me, I don't like to ingest anything supplemental or medicinal if I don't know all the potential side effects or how it may interact with other medications.

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
