There are so many downfalls of this trip we are one but, many people who are aging are missing the dance too so we are not really all that alone, just aging a little.....a lot.......faster than many.
Inspite of my hair past due for a shampoo, the dishes and counter top are a mess, as is the rest of the house. It gets that way when I sew.
The music took me back to younger wilder times, my first boyfriend, my first kiss, my first baby!!! All with the Beatles playing in my ear. I guess it wasn't too bad of a day, dirty hair and all. Oh blah de Oh blah da, la la la la, life goes on.
Yeah, I am terrified of getting sick too.
I'm like Jarca in being isolated and afraid of catching anything since it always turns into something really nasty.
All of the lack of energy and illnesses make it harder than ever to decide where I should live. I love my home here but I am very isolated. I have a new/old home being renovated in Wilmington and next door to my youngest son who is always caring, helpful and anxious to have me move. It's a very friendly neighborhood too but I am scared to death of giving up my home here and finding things more difficult there. Or it could be great and I'll never know if I just don't do it. I am no closer to a rational decision than I was two months ago.
And the sleeping issues worsen every day. I am trying to stay as positive as I can but it's not easy this year. Just got over another bout with bronchitis and that probably adds to my frustration.
I keep saying This too will Pass and hope that it's soon.
Thanks for letting me vent.
Hugs, Cindy
Spontaneity - how i loved to just go or do things in a moments notice.
camping & hiking
not hurting in all my joints
running with & training my dogs (oh how i miss the dog shows, travel, friends from all over, competition, being with my children & animals as it was a family sport)
Hands on work- from fixing my own faucets to bucking hay, moving handlines and of course the care of the farm animals.
i miss not having to plan how to do everything, haul enough 02, lugging 02.....awwww, this is depressing.
I miss money!!!
sometimes i wonder how much is this dx & how much is age= ah to be 40 again. lots of energy, kids old enough to be freinds & do things with (and they were moving out but still close)
I guess we all must age, we weren't promised that life was fair, easy or forever.
